once again it's been awhile. love my new job, but it's crazy busy. did i say crazy busy? i think i meant CRAZY BUSY. teaching all kinds of classes....fire building, forest ecology, teambuilding, high ropes course, shelter building...live in a gorgeous place, but it is COLD. COLD.

how cold it's gonna be tonight...

FREEZING. zero degrees. and it's not even october yet...brrr.

i'm determined to wear sandals until the snow flies, though. :)

have to go teach arts and crafts....but i recieved an email from someone about my giardia link, and about my site...i miss posting here. i wish my free minutes weren't so few and far between. been spending many weekend in canada...eh? ;) not been climbing as much as i'd like to, or reading as much as i like to...but i've been reading margaret atwood's 'the blind asassin' and loving it...still eating lots of ice cream, though the ben and jerry's selection is poor here in newaygo....

tonight, after a great week in ontario and a sweet dave matthews band show in toronto i drove back to my home in michigan. (wow, crazy to think my home is now in michigan!) after throwing the junk in my car in my room, i went for a walk around the lake...dusk, the sun almost set, glistening off the lake, a blue heron perched on a dock...amazing. life is good. like those tshirts....maybe they need one with a sunset over a lake...
