woo! dmb in toronto. i was hoping for a canadian date - even better that it's at the end of the summer. once again i get to 'spread out' my shows: bonnaroo in june, darien lake in july and toronto in september. :)

i now have a very very cool job. i will be working the summer for the student conservation association, or SCA. high school students from around the country (US and canada, mainly US) volunteer to be part of a crew doing trail work at national parks and forests. i will be co-leading a crew of 6 in the san bernandino national forest, which is, ironically, a place where i've both hiked and climbed in the past. i'll be in the backcountry for a month, far from internet access. i'm quite excited - i think it will be a great experience, and i will be able to 'give back' to a place i've used many times in the past.
