i'm wearing SANDALS. no socks.
it's spring. really, i know, it was march 21. however, in canada spring is signaled by the first day where the temperatures reach double digits. it was 11 today.
i couldn't believe the number of people outside. there is a different appreciation you develop for spring when you've been living through winter. it has new promise, a different feel. people act differently, and spring is so much sweeter. i love it. it's magical.
i love the winter, and part of me is sad to see it go. spring brings new promise.
not to mention a lot of mud. :)
SANDALS.

Wow. I haven't lived through a winter with snow in about 12 years now, and I can't say I miss it. More power to ya to find the beauty in frezzing temperatures.
BTW, are you on the Western side of Canada? My friend in Toronto tells me it's nicer over that way.
nope, i'm in waterloo - about 2 hours north of buffalo, new york. in the 'snow belt'...i love the snow. love the seasons. love the cold. :)
but, i also love vancouver, speaking of western canada. it's just that a very cute boy happens to be here in waterloo. :P
