something today - i'm still not quite sure what is was - made me think of the movie 'singles'. definately in the alissa top 5. i don't like many movies, but when i like one, i *really* like it. i remember watching it at 17, thinking somehow that's how life would be when i was late 20-thirtysomething. obviously, it's not. i relate to it differently now, at 27. i haven't watched it in a few years. i think i might go rent it tonight. or at least listen to the soundtrack, which is wonderful.
